Driving is so much fun that there’s a lot of different genres of games created around it including racing, simulation, open world, and a few more here and there. There’re only a few games though that’ll give you just the thrill of driving around a little sandbox without any consequence. That’s where Scrap Metal 3: Infernal Trap comes in.
Scrap Metal 3: Infernal Trap is a driving simulation game that lets you drive a few different vehicles in an almost literal sandbox with no goals or consequences or whatever, just the fun of driving. The game was created using the Unity engine, and because of this, the game is such a virtual eye candy. The music is lacking though, and the only sound you’ll be hearing the whole game is the sounds your car make. It can get boring very quickly since the game really doesn’t have goals or anything, just lets you drive around. It’s alright though, you’ll forget about doing anything anyway since the visuals and the physics are good and is the actual fun you’ll have. The game controls using the mouse and keyboard. You’ll use the W, A, S, and D keys to steer. The mouse will be used to change any settings in the game, including your current vehicle. You’ll have a few choices when it comes to cars, like SUVs or trucks. By the way, one of the best features of this game is the track editor. This lets you put in any type of available obstacles anywhere you’d like. This gives the game a bit more of replayablity and removes some of the boredom of the blank track – anything that adds instant fun to a game is cool by me.
If you’re looking for a game where there’s no stress of competition, or goals to hinder you from doing what you want, or just something that lets you test drive some vehicles, then you’re in for a treat. Scrap Metal 3: Infernal Trap is just the game for you, and it’d be a waste to not try this game out.
